Text:
I freely subscribe to the following intents and commitments:

A. HUMAN RIGHTS
Because I respect the rights of all people to survive and thrive, I will seek the good of all, including each person’s right to clean water, food, clothing, shelter, medical care, human contact, education, and cultural expression.

B. FAIR DEALING
I will seek to be just and compassionate in my dealings with others, and will encourage my political and cultural leaders to do the same.

C. RESPECT
I will not allow ethnic, cultural, religious or ideological differences to prevent cordial, respectful, and just relationships with others.

D. PERSONAL COMMITMENT
I will devote a portion of my time, energy, and goods to attain the wellbeing of others.

No records will be kept of individual affirmations of this covenant.  Each subscriber is encouraged to make her/his own copy, keeping it where s/he can be reminded of it from time to time.
